Drum & Bass artist, Klute, approached me about creating the artwork for his latest single, entitled “Ashram.” The track has an obvious indian influence and Klute wanted to feature an illustration of Ganesha for the single’s artwork. He wanted me to “do my thing,” and we were both excited about the results.

He supplied the reference material and I worked up the illustration in the style that I’ve been using on various illustration projects over the past year. I experimented with different blurring and layer effects to create an abstract throne amongst a field of concentric circles into the background. – Oliver Barrett
