Located in downtown Cleveland, Jak Prints is one of the nation’s largest apparel screen printers. At the begining of 2009, they came to Go Media looking for some apparel illustrations. They offer a wide variety of printing techniques to their customers, but they were lacking a good way of showing their customers how these techniques
could be applied properly in the apparel printing process. As a result, they decided to do a line of “touch and feel” t-shirts that would be made available to their customers as samples for their various printing techniques. The illustration was created in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet.
The objective of this design was to incorporate gold foil into the design in an appropriate manner. The design gives the customers of Jak Prints an realistic example of how to use foil in their designs.
