The apparel brand Fright Rags sells t-shirts based on cult and horror films. I approached them with the intention of adding to their collection by creating a t-shirt for one of my favorite pictures, David Lynch’s film “Eraserhead.” In creating the illustration, I wanted to avoid using the popular image of Jack Nance’s head because there are so many other memorable images from the film. Instead I decided to focus on another one of the central figures, the baby from the film. The resulting piece was a single color illustration of the character. Ben Scrivens, the owner of Fright Rags, was thrilled with the result and the shirt is for sale in their online store.
