Mode Studios is a Seattle based creative & technical outfit with a focus on elaborate stage décor, displays, video direction and special event visuals. Their experience runs the gamut from constructing the world’s largest LED display in Beijing, to all the visuals for the world tours of LeAnn Rimes, Nickel Back, 3 Doors Down and many others.

The logo development for MODE is the second act in a two part project. It started with their new website and moved onto a logo ‘revamp.’ There were two rounds of concepts, one of which was a fresh take on the brand, the second being a ‘touch-up’ of their existing mark.

These two lines of concepts represent two very specific takes on Mode Studios’ Identity. The top row being the more literal of the two which mainly draws on the metaphor of technicality and functionality. The second more visualizes the experience they put on through the eyes of someone not behind the scenes. Working mainly in the entertainment industry on projects that are meant to amplify and exude energy, the rhythm motif reflects an emotional take on Mode’s Identity.
