On The Clock:

  • My title is ‘Web Strategist’. What I really do is talk with clients about their needs, create deliverables like flowcharts and wireframes, and mediate the designer/developer divide. I also design, build, implement and support standards-compliant websites.
  • January of 2012 will mark an unofficial 4 years that I’ve been with Go Media. The work I’m most proud of to-date: Prugar Inc., Alterra Group, and Build A Dream Playhouses.
  • My professional strengths include information architecture, project management, and front-end development. I take pride in adhering to web standards and best practices.
  • I believe that clear communication steers the course for intelligent, decisive action. This is why I’m passionate about strategy — let’s come up with a game plan!
  • My deepest satisfaction comes from chatting comfortably with clients about who they are, what they do, and what they want. I shine brightest when they look to Go Media as a loyal friend they can always depend on.

Off the Clock:

  • When I was 6, I wanted to slip in a puddle of radioactive goo and turn into a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle. That way I could wield nun-chucks, eat Pizza Hut, and rescue April from the clutches of Shredder without feeling weird about it.
  • When ‘The Lion King’ first came out on VHS, I would rush home from school to watch it. Then I’d phone my equally obsessed friend and recap the best scenes. To this day, even my parents know all the words to ‘Hakuna Matata’ and have trouble watching the Disney Channel without grimacing.
  • In high school I used to pretend to run into door frames to make my friends laugh, until I started doing it for real.
  • One morning, after a long night reading Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, I woke up from a dream shouting incoherent spells at my beeping alarm clock. Much to my dismay, I was *not* an angsty teen-aged wizard and had to resort to muggle tactics to turn it off.
  • In recent years, I’ve come to the grave conclusion that there’s more to life than chips and salsa.
